Live! Casino today announced its parent company, The Cordish Companies, and FanDuel Group will bring the FanDuel Sportsbook — America’s #1 Sportsbook — to Cordish’s new western Pennsylvania casino when it opens later this year. Cordish and FanDuel Group entered into a strategic partnership last year to bring FanDuel’s fantasy and sports betting operations to Cordish’s Live! Casino & Hotel and Entertainment District properties throughout the country.
The FanDuel Sportsbook at Live! Casino will open inside the Sports & Social Steel City, a one-of-a-kind sports restaurant, gaming venue and social lounge that will offer guests the ultimate sports fan experience. The 445-seat, two-level venue will be outfitted with state-of-the-art AV technology, including a giant 45-foot LED video screen, that will allow guests to place wagers at FanDuel and watch as many as 16 different games at once. The venue will also include a wide variety of interactive social games, such as bowling, a golf simulator, ping pong, darts and more.

The partnership with FanDuel Group is the latest addition at western Pennsylvania’s newest casino. The multi-level, 100,000-square-foot facility will provide something for everyone, including gaming, dining and live entertainment. The gaming floor at Live! Casino will feature 750 slots machines and 30 live-action table games, including favorites like blackjack, craps and roulette. Live! Casino also will provide complimentary parking at 6,400 conveniently located spaces.
Situated 30 miles from downtown Pittsburgh in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Live! Casino will be located at the popular Westmoreland Mall. The project is expected to generate $188 million in annual economic impact, with an additional $148 million in economic impact from construction, including approximately 960 direct and indirect construction jobs, plus 500 permanent jobs for local and regional residents.
The FanDuel Sportsbook at Live! Casino will operate during normal business hours in compliance with Pennsylvania and CDC guidelines. Guests of the casino will also have access to the FanDuel Sportsbook online experience throughout the property.

The partnership recently shared plans to bring a FanDuel Sportsbook to Cordish’s Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, located in the Stadium District. The companies will also pursue sports betting licenses and online gaming opportunities in Maryland, Washington D.C., and other jurisdictions across the United States as sports betting expands across the country.
The opening of FanDuel Sportsbook at Live! Casino is the latest step in a rapidly expanding national retail footprint for FanDuel Group.
