Make it Matter Regional Conference - September 19 and 20 at The Venue Live!
The rescheduled inaugural event is now providing participants with professional development credits through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the event will include SHRM’s chief human resource officer as a featured speaker.
In partnership with the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and Live! Casino Pittsburgh, the inaugural event will provide participants with valuable insights on the importance of diversity and how strategically managing inclusion is critical to regional employers, managers, HR professionals and executive leaders.
Local leaders are also lining up to provide their support for the Make it Matter Regional Conference including Westmoreland County Commissioner Ted Kopas and Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce president Dan DeBone.
Participants of the conference will learn how to gain an economic advantage and drive transformational performance and growth in your organization.
Jim Link has also been added as a featured speaker. He is the chief human resources officer for SHRM, the largest HR professional association in the world and the leading voice for matters related to workers and the workplace.

Following the presenters, Kopas will moderate an open discussion on many of the issues presented regarding diversity and inclusion.
The conference is offering early bird specials until Aug. 31 for participants including a one-day pass for $150 (regular price $200) and a two-day pass for $250 (regular price $350) for all sessions.
