Live! Casino And Mega Money Bingo Celebrate More Than $430,000 In Donations Awarded to Nonprofit Organizations from Charitable Community Bingo Program

More than 12,000 bingo players contributed to this charitable initiative

HEMPFIELD TWP., Pa. (May 22, 2025) - Live! Casino and Mega Money Bingo today celebrated the distribution of more than $430,000 in donations to local nonprofit organizations through the Charitable Community Bingo program held each week at The Venue Live!.

Live! officials were joined by Mega Money Bingo organizers, local elected officials, business and community leaders, and many recent nonprofit donation recipients at a special media and community event. Some of the nonprofits in attendance included Educated Athletes First, Mutual Aid EMS, CASA of Westmoreland and Westmoreland Toys for Tots.

“Live! is honored to play a small role in the charity bingo program,” said Live! General Manager Sean Sullivan. “It’s another chapter in our effort to fulfill The Cordish Companies’ vision of strengthening our communities and empowering worthy nonprofits. We’re proud to provide The Venue Live! to good people and organizations that make Westmoreland County thrive.”

Michael Sarsfield of Mega Money Bingo said the communitywide effort is helping to improve lives for so many in Westmoreland County.

“Charitable Community Bingo is having a tremendous impact in Westmoreland County,” Sarsfield said. “It’s great to work with Sean and his Live! team to provide a weekly event that has become so popular and helps countless good causes.”

The program, which began in June 2024, has welcomed more than 12,000 enthusiastic bingo players who have contributed to this charity initiative.

“Mutual Aid EMS truly appreciates the generosity of our community and all organizers of the Charitable Community Bingo program," said Lisa Kennedy, director of program development and outreach. "This program helps us to continue to do life-saving work in 34 communities throughout our area.”

Live! Casino works tirelessly to create and execute opportunities to help the Westmoreland County community. In January, Live! hosted a celebration to announce the details of $19.3 million of Local Share Account (LSA) grants distributed in 2024 to fund 89 projects throughout Westmoreland County. The quarterly Live! Giveback Box program also has contributed over $248,100 to local charities. Money from this program is donated by guests who drop their slot ticket cash out at Giveback Boxes located throughout the casino. Each quarter, Live! contributes all Giveback Box donations to two local charities. Recent beneficiaries included Westmoreland County YMCA, Foster Love Project, Norwin Area Meals on Wheels and Sage’s Army.

Charitable Community Bingo nights are held each Monday at 5:00 p.m. at The Venue Live! Open to the public, tickets cost $40 and can be purchased at the door. Special Saturday events are held at 6:00 p.m. For more information, please visit Pittsburgh.LiveCasinoHotel.com
